Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems performance and quality
• Support, maintain and deploy cloud infrastructure
• Design and architect cloud solutions that are secure and scalable
• Troubleshoot and correct problems within the infrastructure as they arise

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience engineering enterprise-scale, web enabled applications
• Master level knowledge of AWS environment and services (VPC, EC2 , SQS, IAM, S3, Route 53, RDS, DynamoDB, Container Services, Developers Tools, CloudWatch, CloudFront, CloudFormation, etc. )
• Master level knowledge of Unix operating systems (Amazon Linux, CentOS, Debian etc.)
• Must embrace IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM)
• Setup and management of a Kubernetes cluster (EKS), including writing Docker files and Helm Charts
• Experience writing system level scripts using Python/Shell/Ruby
• Experience engineering CI/CD pipelines leveraging (CodePipeline, CodeBuild & CodeDeploy)
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be on-call periodically to handle after hours support and maintenance issues.

Plus Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Java as it relates to building and compiling for deployments
• Bachelor's degree in technology related field
• AWS Certifications
