Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, deploying and configuring secure NAS (NetApp), 3PAR storage (SAN) and storage networking (Cisco MDS) technologies integration and implementation of various virtualization (VMware), compute (Cisco UCS)
• Build, manage and support – highly available, secure and scalable – production and lab infrastructure (compute and storage) in company’s global data centers and public clouds
• Monitor production and lab environments, troubleshoot alerts & incidents, detect and fix infrastructure problems
• Research new compute, virtualization and storage technologies and make recommendations to improve availability, reliability and performance of these systems supporting company’s external facing applications
• Automate/script daily operational support tasks
• Create/maintain documentation of the infrastructure and configurations (architecture diagrams, procedures, etc.) and provide training to relevant staff (within and outside the immediate team)
• Perform maintenance after hours and in change windows
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years building and managing infrastructure systems (storage and storage networking, compute and virtualization), preferably in a cloud environment
• Solid experience deploying and configuring secure NAS solutions, including NetApp and others.
• Solid experience deploying and configuring secure SAN solutions, including 3PAR/PureStorage
• Strong experience supporting mission critical 24x7 customer facing production environments
• Strong, hands-on experience in designing, deploying and managing Cisco UCS infrastructure (and Cisco/HP rackmount servers)
• Strong experience in Cisco MDS SAN switches configuration and management
• Strong experience in deploying and managing VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi/ESX, etc.) products
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid experience of secure NAS (NetApp) environments including design, implementation and administration
• Strong experience of SAN (3PAR) environments including design, implementation and administration
• Strong experience in scripting/automation using VMware PowerCLI/Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell
• Strong understanding of cloud (AWS, GCP) infrastructure highly desired
• Experience with automated deployment and configuration tools like Puppet is a plus
